The SKU rule

The platform knows a single product across channels by its SKU. One product, one code, on every channel: that is how inventory syncs and a product's sales gather under its name.

Three rules

  1. Every option has its own code. Each size and color has its own SKU. If the same code repeats across more than one option of a Salla product, the whole product drops out of sync and the reason is recorded.
  2. The same code on every channel. A different code between two channels means two separate products with two separate stock pools.
  3. Matching is exact. SKU-001 and sku-001 are two different products to the platform. And an extra space at the start or end of the code breaks the match.
SallaTS-BLU-MAmazonTS-BLU-MNoonTS-BLU-M
One product, one synced stock pool
SallaTS-BLU-MAmazonts blu m
Two separate products, two stock pools
Codes differ between channels?

The barcode is enough: unify the product's barcode across channels, as long as it does not repeat in your catalog, and the platform matches by it.

Important

The platform does not create new listings on the marketplaces. Create your product on the marketplace first, and the platform handles syncing its price and stock after that.

And review your codes in Salla and on every marketplace before connecting: five minutes save you hours, since most sync problems come from a missing, duplicate, or mismatched code.
