Connect ChatGPT or Claude to your seller data over MCP
Connect your AI agent to Nasam and ask about your brands in plain language, with every answer grounded in your real Nasam data.
Before you start
-
A Nasam account.
-
An AI agent that supports connectors: Claude, ChatGPT, or any client that supports remote MCP servers (a protocol that links the agent to your data sources).
-
The connector URL, copied from the Connected apps page in Nasam:
https://mcp.nasam.co/mcp
Steps
In Claude
- Open Claude, then go to Customize, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Nasam, paste the connector URL, and add it.
- Click Connect, sign in to Nasam, and allow access.
On Team and Enterprise accounts an owner adds it under Organization settings, then Connectors, and each member connects from Customize.
In ChatGPT
In the ChatGPT desktop app
- Open Settings, then Plugins, then the MCPs tab.
- Click Add, then Add MCP server.
- Name it Nasam and leave the type as Streamable HTTP.
- Paste the connector URL. The bearer token and header fields stay empty: you sign in with your Nasam account.
- Save, then click Authenticate, sign in to Nasam, and allow access.
On chatgpt.com
- Go to Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode.
- Go to chatgpt.com/plugins, click the plus button, and paste the connector URL with a name and a short description.
- Create the connection, sign in to Nasam, and allow access.
- Install the plugin it creates from your plugins page, then use it in a new chat.
Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan, and in a company workspace an admin may need to allow it. The connector cannot be added from the mobile app.
Another client
Any client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth, such as Cursor and VS Code, takes the same server via the connector URL.
After connecting
Ask your agent in plain language, and every answer is grounded in your Nasam data. Try:
- What needs my attention across my brands?
- Where is order 12345?
- What is about to run out of stock?
- Revenue by channel, last 30 days.
Your agent sees your orders, products, inventory, listings, brand health, and sales performance, so it prioritizes and reasons rather than just listing numbers, limited to the brands your account can reach.
Listing new products
The agent prepares your listings on Amazon, noon, Namshi and Trendyol. It reads each channel's requirements, categories and allowed values from the channel itself, and turns your product (from Salla, for example) into a listing that fits each channel, with price and stock. Try:
- Prepare listings for my new Salla products on noon and Amazon.
- Sell this product on the existing Amazon listing with the same barcode.
It saves listings as drafts first and shows them to you, with any errors, and sends nothing to a channel until you approve. Every submission shows on the Imports page with how many were sent, how many were turned away and why, and the agent follows the channel's answer until each listing is live, or fixes a refused one and sends it again.
Your account needs permission to edit products. If you connected before this feature, connect again to get listing: the earlier connection is read-only.
Managing access
Every connected app appears on the Connected apps page, with the date it was connected and when it was last used. Revoke it anytime with one click, and reconnect whenever you need.
Common issues
- Connection did not complete? Start again from your agent: paste the URL again, then sign in and allow access.
- Your agent does not see tools we added recently? Refresh the connection in your agent's settings, then start a new chat.
- It cannot find your brand? The agent reads the brands your account can reach; make sure the brand is within your permissions.
